I don’t understand myself. I am supposed to control my emotions like extreme laughing, crying, worrying, or feeling angry because I should not give my heart a rapid rate, irregular rhythm, and sobbing. But I am so sensitive when I read shared posts on Facebook about the abuse, abandonment, and cruelty of humans to canines, felines, and other animals that should be taken care of with love. Sometimes, my son would ask me why I am blowing my nose even if I do not have nasal congestion. I reply I get misty reading those posts. Though at times, I laugh alone when I watch some antics of dogs meeting their fur parents with ecstasy, cats playing with dogs, and newborn squirrels, I cannot feel joy when I read posts about dogs getting killed, thrown away in the lake for the crocodile to eat, or leaving a beautiful dog in the highway and the dog patiently waiting for his master, who abandoned him. I get so angry when I read these posts. But I am sad when dogs are placed in situations like being abandoned by their masters. Are you sensitive to the plight of dogs in your place?

That's really bad situation. In my city, it is not possible for them to walk along the street. They will be caught by authorities.

@ridingbet In some cases, the authorities caught these people smuggling dogs here. Now, I think it is not that common anymore and it is an isolated case.

@ridingbet no, I had not read that one.. but I agree. some people spend a good deal of their time rescuing and saving these poor dogs.. I wish I had more of those resources.

i cannot contain my emotions too when i see dogs being rescued by people, and the the dogs are up for adoption. i applaud these selfless persons who are doing humanitarian responsibilities. have you read a post on FB about a homeless man who travels by foot but has 10 astray dogs? i got misty reading that.

@minx267 but i also read a post about how an organization saving dogs eventually euthanize the dogs they collect from the streets, that is why their web site is not encouraged by the pet lovers.

Dogs are human friends. It is like a man who deserves our grief for him, our happiness for him, and our tears for him.

that is true. i think anywhere, there are some people who are cruel to animals, but i hope for every cruelty done, there are more people who are compassionate to these animals.

@ridingbet I hope so, parents should teach to their children to respect the animals when they are still very young. As not all the parents are intelligent enough to understand this, this is something that kids should learn in school.

@mlgen1037 yes they have that celebration called YULIN, am i right? i do not want, if possible, to watch on FB about how the dogs are murdered and cooked. beautiful dogs and they are cooked for food for human. these humans are more animalistic than the dogs.

Of course, I think any normal human being feels this way. Only psychos harm animals and other beings in my opinion. Harsh reality.

yes, because we have a number of dogs and each of them have their own traits. that is why when the black puppy of our neighbor cries at night, we worry if the puppy has water or food to nibble.

@ridingbet our neighbors dog cries at night for a few days. So it seems that dog (actually a pup) is not yet ready to be left alone

@rakski like the black puppy of our neighbor. during daytime though, the puppy has a companion, the other big black dog, to which our dogs bark at them when these 2 are staying on top of the neighbor's house. it is a black versus white dog barking thingy
