That was a first. There was this *woman* at the store screaming on her cell phone. She was dropping the f-bomb, m-f-ing, it was like every other word at the top of her lungs. Everyone was horrified. She could be heard throughout the entire huge store. When I walked past her I looked at her and said "quiet, you are in a public place." I couldn't help myself. That was the teacher in me. Well, she then turned her attention to me and started calling me a b!tch, telling me to shut the f up, mind my own m-f-ing business, etc. I just said "you're really classy" and walked away, but for a minute there I thought that she was going to throw down. That would have been a first for me as I've never been in any kind of physical altercation in my life. Maybe she was intimidated by my muscles, maybe she just wanted to get back to screaming to the person on the phone. . . who knows? I confess that I got nervous when I saw her at the checkout the same time I was there. I was afraid she would get done before me and be waiting for me outside in the parking lot. Luckily I finished before her and left before she ever saw me again. What a disgusting pig of a person. Pure ghetto trash.

I am sorry that happened. Luckily, you got out of the store before she did. Some people can be such trash, it is sickening and scary.

@NJChicaa I agree. People who act like that in public have no conscience.

She definitely was trash. I would have regretted it if I didn't say something and clearly no one else was going to.

Sounds like to me she wanted to be seen and heard, attention, she wanted a confrontation. I would have looked for the coward of a manager and MADE him/ her deal with it. I can`t say I have ever seen anyone act like this in a grocery store, a bar yes but not grocery. I do cuss but there is no way in the world I would do that, I respect myself. Those are the women we see getting arrested on the show Cops.

There are people you just want to shush, and there are scary people out there. Sometimes they are one in the same.

I am really surprised how can some one dealing with public can act like this....If I were in your place i would have launched a complaint against her with the store owners , not to get her sacked but to give an apology which I genuinely deserve! Thanks!

There was nothing the store could have done. It was a customer, not an employee. I doubt anyone would have had the courage to confront her without the police there.

there was a woman here that snapped like that in the store. because she couldn't be bothered to queue in line like everyone else, she made it a racial issue. no,it's not your race.it's your inability to get in line like everyone else waiting.

I am glad that you are still alive. 2 weeks ago in the waiting room of a railway station a man who was calling loudly somebody was told by an Asian woman that it was not polite and that he should continue outdoors. He insulted her with racist comments, and this man was not coming from a ghetto.
