I shop online mostly with Amazon in and my experience with them is great in all spheres.
I have returned items and have got refunds immediately. But yesterday I asked for a refund and told them that I did not find those chocolates that I had ordered up to the mark.
They told me to keep the chocolates but arranged for full refund. I received 5 packets as per my order. I am feeling guilty because these chocolates can be eaten but the quality is poor.

I feel bad because I am not going to throw them.My complaint was they were not what I expected them to be and I was ready to return them.

Well, they do that when they do not want you to return it because it will be a bad advetisement for them

If Amazon doesn't want them back and is willing to pay you to keep them....They must be poor quality!

Most of the time the things I buy online are suitable. But sometimes it doesn't, or it's not what I want. If I apply for a refund, I have to return it first. He gave you a refund, but he didn't ask you to return it, which means it is not expensive. If you don't like it, you can throw it away.

Yes that is the brand. They looked so inviting. I wanted Cadbury but amazon does not market them.

Of the 150 odd orders I have placed with Amazon I can count on my fingers those that did not go as per my requirement. I am totally satisfied with my online shopping.
Has any of your off line shoppers asked you to keep what you have bought and refunded you the amount?

@Jessabuma They are nowhere near what I have eaten earlier. I had tasted Cadbury eclairs and now I am looking for them. Amazon does not have them.

Many food items cant be returned for safety and health reasons. So dont feel guilty about it. I am glad you are getting a refund.

I am planning on doing that but just to tell you they are edible the only issue was they were not as I had expected them to be.

It may be because it is food stuff and they do not know if you have "contaminated it" somehow and it is safer to have you keep it. It may be that they are such an inexpensive item to them that having you keep them is less expensive than paying for the return postage.

There is a rule where food items cannot be returned. They made an exception in my case and are refunding me the full amount.

I know of eclairs but I don't know the brand Candy man. You can just give it away. Someone else may like it, anyway people have different taste.

I should have paid attention to the brand. I fell for what they looked like and chocolate eclairs by Cadbury I have tasted and they are great. I will look for them now.
