Yesterday I took my 3 year old to his fallow up visit for his EGD. We went over his results. Every thing looks good. All his biopsy came back negative. From the look from his intestines there is no sign of celiac but he hasn’t had wheat since Febuary so I don’t know if the messed up the results or not b cause your suppose to have gluten before this test to show that if you do or do not as well as get a biopsy. We go to the Endocrinologist on Tuesday so I will ask the doctor then if that is an affect or not. GI wise he looks good we still have a few more test to make sure. He is still in Fauiler to Thrive.

We already got his test back on Friday. All was negative not good but good to know. One test worried about being wrong because he hasn’t had wheat since Feb.

Poor little guy! I hope that the visit to the endocrinologist is not too bad for him.

I have Celiac disease and it's not fun, living this way. But, weeding out wheat, rye, and barley has kept me on track, for almost six years now. It's not an allergy, instead it's my own immune system, attacking and destroying the lining of the small intestine, every time I consume foods with gluten. Cross contamination is a part of it, even if a utensil is used for a food with gluten content and then touches my food. I will pray for your precious little boy!
