I look for the appearance of ladybugs among my flowers every year. It's one of the first signs of spring. These little beetles hibernate during the winter months, just seeming to pop up in the spring.
I love seeing them out there among my flowers doing their job of eating all the aphids keeping my garden safe from harm. These little beetles not only try to keep our garden bug free but the leaves with there bright colors. Did you know that ladybugs come in more colors than just red? They can come in many colors such as pink, orange, brown, yellow or solid black.
They are an amazing little beetle with a purpose that adds pretty little spots of color to our gardens.
Lovely little lady bug sent from heaven above please watch over my garden and fill it up with love. ~ Author Unknown

@HazySue A double benefit from our little friends! It is always fun to see the colorful ladybug in the garden. Fun to look at, but also nice to know they are eating the bad bugs!

Nice photo you got there! Ladybugs are interesting and lovely to look at.
Why are they called ladybugs? But one thing for sure, its not because they are all ladies. If all of them were, they won't multiply hahaha

Unfortunately they have become a nuisance in Mississippi. We have an over abundance, they bite and invade our homes. I grew up loving them.
