"An Ice Cold Grave" by Charlaine Harris is the third novel in the Harper Connelly series.  Its also the most exciting of the novels thus far. Prior to this one there had been very little romance in the stories, however this one makes up for it and maybe a little too much. It was a little predictable but still kind of came out at a weird point in the story. Harper is still using her "gift" to find dead bodies and her step brother is still acting as her manager.  Nothing has really changed about that,  at least not until the second half of this story.  If you are familiar with this series or with Harris'  writing this book is about the same. There's nothing difficult about her writing style and there are parts of the book that (at least to me) seem very flat and almost boring. I would give this one a five and a half out of ten. I know a lot of people who gobble this author's books up but this one really didn't do much for me. However don't let my view of it prevent you from trying it out, everybody likes different things.
Hired to find a boy gene missing in Doraville, North Carolina, Harper Connelly and her brother Tolliver head there, only to discover that...

I read several of the Sookie Stackhouse novels she wrote because they are what True Blood is based on. But even those weren't great literary works, however they were better than these.
