It is hard to believe how quickly the time has passed. This time last year I was in the hospital scared of what was ahead for me and trying to process all that happened.
Every day I am thankful that I woke up while I was having a heart attack. I have learned since then that there is only a small percentage of people who wake up during their heart attack. Most people don't.
I am also thankful for all of you here at myLot who were so supportive of me during that time. What a great bunch of folks you are!! That is something I will never forget!

When I was confined 3 weeks ago at the Hospital. I was thinking if I'm going to die soon because, to be honest, I am having a rough time there. I could not go anywhere without oxygen in me, I feel like suffocating anytime soon.
One time I was going to the comfort room but I could not have the oxygen with me, I end up panicking and almost out of breath. I thought I was going to die. But thank God, I was not.

Oh ! You had a heart attack last year? Sorry at that time I was not active here! Yes people here are very loving and caring and they always boost up our Morales at the times of crisis! Nice to know that you are all well now and fit! Enjoy life and have a great time dear friend! God bless!

@Happy2BeMe First one was 2006. The last one and by far the worst experience of my life was 2010. Don't know how the doctors kept bringing me back but they did and here I am.

It was minor, there was no damage down to my heart because the paramedics were here within 5 minutes of my call. I was at the hospital in less then 30 minutes. I had to have open heart surgery because I had three blockages.

Good to hear that you recover well from heart attack and you spend already 1 year. How is your life now. Hope you wil have a wonderfull life ahead!!!!!

I am very glad you were one of the ones that woke up and survived your heart attack.
I am glad you are still with us. I do not know if I remember your heart attack but I am very glad you survived.
