Rainbow cloud / myLot

This cloud passed over us the other day.. I have only ever seen them in pictures. It was very beautiful to see in person. I did a little research they are called iridescent clouds. And are caused by tiny ice crystals in the clouds refracting light!

oh, wow.. were you excited too! my uncle called to tell me about it ..so I could take pictures... he saw it and called me and said go look out side look at the clouds!
