“youWAIT!”

Good Thursday morning from this side of our planet, how are you all? The sun is shining brightly with some winds blowing from the east. I watched the news about the weather condition and it was announced that my city, specifically, is under ‘low pressure area’ and it is possible this LPA won’t develop into a typhoon and the winds are blowing northward to the direction of Taiwan so, no worries. My sister often says this phrase:”you wait!”, particularly when talking to the dogs. When a dog scratches our door wanting to get in, she says, “sandali” (you wait); she does not open the door though. ‘You wait’, until I or my son stand up and open the door. Several minutes ago while I was in our bathroom, I heard her again saying ‘you wait’! Apparently she is talking to Chibi who wants to go out. Whenever she says the words, it implies that either I or my son should complete the task of doing what should be done. “Sandali”! It seems my sister, once seated and playing CCSoda on her mobile phone, cannot stretch her legs to walk. I think she depends on me and my son to do the action. In annoyance, I told her that ‘you should just tell me or my son to do that instead of saying to the dog YOU WAIT’. Do you think I am disrespectful to my sister?

no, I think your sister is being lazy. If I tell my dogs to wait... it is I that will be cleaning up the dogs mess in a few minutes if they do not get outside on time! I think your sister has you and your son trained very well!

@ridingbet LOL. and she knows this.. that is why she just tells the dogs to wait.. she know she has you trained to get up and help the dog in whatever they require.. and she doesn't have to move at all..

@minx267 but i now can call her attention like this lunch time. as usual, she said Wait, and did not move a bit. i told her sarcastically, i will do it for you, manang.

Good morning po. You are just being honest and at least to tell her in a way that you are annoyed of her behavior.

i think i have little or no shame when talking to her about the insecurities she may have. but she is my sister and i do love her.

@mlgen1037 indeed, i have to say something because i cannot just keep the anger inside of me. i would lierally burst and i don't like that. i shout at her, and i leave the house. but worse when i come home, she does these actions like having seizures, holding a knife, or staring blankly. i don't feel remorse if i see her that way because i know she is just acting up.

@ridingbet it is better than not saying anything. You are just concerned of her po. My sister tells me my attitude sometimes and even if I am hurt, I know she does love me. I am to her too even if she is "maldita".

I think it is fine. You just need to call her attention.

@ridingbet I do think that we need to be patient enough to deal with her.

Wait. Wait. Wait. That is also my son's dialogue whenever I asked him to put his used clothes to the hamper. I do not do anything. Ahaha. He needs to follow. But as per the dog, hmmm..... I agree with you she can always call you or your son to let the dogs out or in.

my late mother often reminded us whenever she wants something done and we respond, "SANDALI". in our regional language, it can be translated to "IN A MINUTE'. my sister should still change her ways on our real dogs and not only to the alien dog.

i am fine, kabsat. hahaha! control your sphincter first and interact with us here. but we will be expecting you after you released the toxins out of your system. "hweteng" (waiting), kabsat.

I don't think you are being disrespectful, it sounds more to me like your sister is using you and your son as maids to do what she is too lazy to get up and do. Why don't you and your son go into another room and make her get up to open the door and see what she does when no one comes to the door!

sometimes we do that. when she says "you wait" to Chibi who wants to get inside the house, my son acts as if he cannot hear her because he is always on headphones. for me, i can disguise myself as completely engrossed interacting here on myLot.

@ridingbet Does she get up and let the dog in or out if you ignore her?

@cintol no, she waits for anybody between me and my son. because if she does, we will hear some sarcastic remarks from her.

no, it is definitely not her job. you see, i am younger than she, and my son is the youngest at home. almost always, my son collects the poop and wipes the pee when the dogs do their things inside the house. it is our duty to clean. it is because i did not approve of the 4 puppies to be given away; we kept them here.
