How many of you enjoy sketching? I used to but I haven't picked up a pencil in I don't know when. I might have forgotten how. The same for painting. I loved sketching, painting , quilting and writing. Now my days seem too full.
If you paint, sketch, quilt or write poetry I would like to see your work. How about adding it to a discussion I'm sharing a sketch I did of myself about 20 something years ago.

I do all that you love, I love them as well. I don`t have any of my owrk stored into this laptop, so I cant.

All those stuff in one person. That's great. I only write poetry but most of my poetry was posted online already, sadly it is against the rule here to re-post. Hopefully, they'll change the rule since those are my works and copyrights belongs to me.

MY LOVELY DAFFODIL AND I
Wintry weather frosts me here,
Thinking of her my lovely daffodil.
Memories that long disappear,
But it never left me still.
One old September still fresh and new,
When we both said, "I love you".
Funny moment as cool as dew.
Now the then one, split in two.
Looking back is funny fool inside.
Smiling, while storm ruled my very eyes.
Little by little I've realized.
That I need to roll the dice.
I've asked the wind, why oh why?
Why such a lovely moment need to fly?
But still, in my heart, it never says goodbye,
The story of my lovely daffodil and I.

That is a very nice sketch. I will sometimes write creatively here. It has been quite a long time since I have though. I may have to write a little more creatively here and share it. I have had a dream in my head all day that I could write creatively.

@RubyHawk I just posted a discussion with a story I wrote before. I might write a story based on the dream I just had but I'm not sure. The memory of it is starting to fade a little too much.

I took art when I was middle school (Jr. high school). I loved it, but I can't really draw good. But I do like coloring. I used to write stories and poems.

The only thing I do is write, and yes, I do write poetry too. Here is something I wrote several years ago.
TWO HEARTS
I stand alone on the bridge of time
A lonely wanderer in the climb
Searching shadows of misty haze
My life, my heart in a daze.
My soul whispers in the night
A bird above takes to flight
I hear it softly as it speaks
My eyes in search of oneness, seeks.
Through the mist the shadows part
To gaze upon a stalwart heart
He must hear its rhythm deep
My heart, my life, his to keep.
We stand together hearts entwined
On the bridge of endless time
Two hearts to sing the age old rhyme
Two hearts to stand the test of time.

@Courtlynn But you might be if you tried. I haven't sketched in awhile so I'm a little afraid to pick up my pencil again.
