Wouldn't It Be Nice

We are supposed to have an entire week of 30 degree C temps here in the prairies with no rain in sight. Guess what I just ran out of? Water!! The water barrel has a couple of inches of water in it... too far down for me to collect so I'm going to have to rely on the well to keep the gardens watered. Here's hoping that it doesn't run dry!! So wouldn't it be nice to have a weather machine to help with the weather you need from week to week? The reason that it's even on my mind is the fact that Seasons from Sims 4 comes out tomorrow and you get a machine to help you choose what you want. Okay, you can ask, but you never know exactly what you are going to get. In the trailers that I saw a couple of days ago, they asked for rain because it was too hot... and they got a snow storm. Bet that was a surprise lol! I wonder just how close we are to manipulating the weather??

It seems humans can only make the weather worse, not better. I would love to be able to choose.

Yeah, you definitely have a good point there. It would have to be fool proof and what is the chances of that???

Hi Hate2Iron. If we can manipulate the weather, which weather will you use?

I think that I would pick every season, but none of the severity that you can find. One winter, our lettuce actually froze on the way to the car. Now there is a memory I won't forget about living on the prairies!!

@Hate2Iron hahaha. For real it got frozen? That is the first I heard of that happening. But it would be nice to have the those weather but not that extreme so all will still enjoy the weather.

In the old URSS they already did, they never had rain during their military parades. You can search online and you will know more.

@Hate2Iron I was so surprised and scared when I have read this. They were able to move the clouds to another area, so that they cannot have the perfect military parade.

Can you not get a bigger barrel or more barrels? In Australia many people have rainwater tanks and collect whatever rain falls on the rooves.

If we weren't getting ready to move, that is exactly what I would do! That would be an awesome idea and makes perfect sense!

@Hate2Iron Our water tank is huge and catches all the rain water that falls on the house roof. It never gets more than halfway down. We do have a bore (well) but we don't need to use the water from it.

I think Judy's idea is a good one. That's on the list for our next house!

I have found something online for you to look at. It is a machine that generates water from the air. Interesting article I think you will enjoy.

Okay... On my way to check this one out! My cactus seems to be doing just that. Haven't watered it since I moved it outside and it's doubled in size!

@Hate2Iron That is very cool to know. A certain type of desert plant is able to get water right out of the air. Some people drink cactus juice. I bet it is really good on a hot summer day in the desert. I think cactus plants get water from the ground but here is a nice article for you to take a look at.
