Be warned, this is a preachy post and you will not like it. Turn away now, there is no upside here. We will make you feel bad and question your life decisions. It is such a serious song written by Metallica. They tell you their Philosophy of how they became rich. I do not think you will like it. This post is fun I love taking digs at Metallica because they want you to sell out with them. Don't you want to be as cool as Metallica. Never even knew Metallica could play music like this.

Yeah, I always like them and do indeed like giving them a hard time but their decisions sometimes always left me to question. I think some of it is even Cali punk bands trying to keep them alive and do right by them for some reason. Show up in punk documentaries or ska documentaries saying they really liked the scene. Just seemed a bit well, why you only about money now and that is the punk bands that invited them fault also since it goes against what you think it should be about. It was a bit weird. Even now Mettalica seems confused where they should be at and think one of the reasons their music has suffered. Dude just watch the guy you kicked out. He always does it right in Megadeth and Dave Mustaine. Makes a boatload of money on top of it just like you guys always want.

@hillhjill Indeed, to me punk and metal have always been in kind of the same boat, just punk has many more styles with their pop ska and what not being no one ever says pop metal. How funny pop metal, but always hated that term pop punk. whether if it is true or not it is overused by hardcore fans whose only sole purpose is to make music that just yells and to make people angry so they can punch some one in the face in the mosh pit. I think this song explains it best as to why they yelled and was a reason behind it not just because you are just violent and want to punch some one in the face.

@crossbones27 I think they are having a hard time because rock is changing so much and it's just not their style, kids today want that screamo or whatever it is, I still want rock that you can understand.
