I have pony tailed, twisted, braided and it is just sticky and I look like a mad woman.

@ScribbledAdNauseum We use very minimal a/c at the house. Room air conditioners are not really efficient. Money can be very tight. So this seems good. It was cool enough last night to just have open windows.

@GardenGerty I can't stand too much heat. If I am outside, I am okay. If I am in a car and it is hot, I start to suffocate. Same for being under blankets. It's likely somewhat of a genetic predisposition. My grandmother was the same way, her daughter (my aunt) was the same way. Sticky, sweaty hair is no fun.

I have not had my hair short for at least five years. I was getting bored always just twisting it up and pulling it back.

@rakski It gets fluffy. Mine used to in the heat.

@GardenGerty oh that is true. I have my hair long near waist area but I cut it 2 inches below shoulder last April. I cannot have a short hair even I want to because when my hair is short, it puts on a lot of volumume.

@andriaperry that is true. It will also eliminate thw showing of double chin and other things needed to be hide

I shut my eyes and grimace in that position. Maybe I did not take enough of them.

It is strange to me, because it has been more than five years since I have had it this short.

@GardenGerty I was just thinking for me short hair is hard to keep up, with it a bit longer, I can just tie it up. I wear it up almost ever day, no point having it, but I am not sure I really want to cute it.

I have been talking about it since the first of May. Sometimes the problem is being in the right place to do it when there is money and I feel like it.

@GardenGerty Being in the right place and having money is always hard to put together, and great when it works out.

It is less sticky. I look like my mom, and my sister whatever I do. Mostly though, I look like my brother.

@cintol My mom is deceased. In her fifties she could pass for thirty, easily.

Had the hair done in the shop in Wal Mart. I will have to do a discussion all about trying to do selfies, perhaps. You guys would get sick of seeing me then.

@GardenGerty No I would not. I don´t take selfies with this very basic mobile phone of mine either.

I do not think a selfie stick works with a camera, though. I am going to keep trying. Maybe put on some makeup first.

I do not know that I will ever be happy with a selfie. If I have hubby take photos of me he never gets close up enough..
