Today I craved for something sweet although I usually don´t have a sweet tooth.
I had bought apples when I went to the super and I pared thinly half an apple. That I placed in 2 beaten eggs and to the range. I made an apple omelet.
When it was ready, I sprinkled sugar over it and some rum. I lit a match over it and the flames and the smell were delicious. For those who do not drink liquor, the fire takes away all of the alcohol and it jest leaves the taste.
Now I´m mylotting with a very happy tummy

@LadyDuck They do! Fried apples and sweet dumplings can be enhanced this way.

@marguicha I will try it. By the way, the apples should be so sweet?

For me it wasn´t a discovery. My mother made it when we were children.

Wow. I want to try that at home. It is okay not to put rhum? Or there are other alternatives?

If you don´t put any liquor, it will not give out flames. But maybe you can put more sugar and some cinnamon.

@marguicha Thank you. Maybe make one with liquor for the husband and then cinnamon and sugar for me.

It is delicious. Sometimes I also fry apple slices that I have previously placed in batter. Another delicious dish.
