I am mighty tired. It wasn't a bad day, just seemed pretty crazy--particularly the morning. Today work went well--I managed to take the bus to work, had to transfer a couple of times (which reminds me, I need to put some more money on my "Clipper card" (a card we use in this area to pay the fare for riding buses). The first two buses I rode were ones that only go around town. The third one was one that went further. The last bus didn't stop when I pushed the button to request a stop, but instead went about two blocks past my work before it stopped. The driver explained to me that he had to stop in a safe place. Guess I'll have to push the button sooner, because I know I've seen this bus stop directly across the street from where I work. Maybe I'll have to hit the "request a stop" button sooner. So, I sort of ran back the two blocks to work, and only was about eight minutes late. Tomorrow my boss asked if I could come in at eight a.m., and I would be working until four (thirty?) . I said I could--I figured it would be a bit more money. So, I will be heading out early tomorrow, which means that I will likely go to bed a bit earlier tonight so I can get up on time. Since I am pretty sure that buses either don't run that early/I wouldn't be able to get to a bus stop where they do run that early on time, I'll be taking a Lyft to work tomorrow. After that it will be the weekend, and it will be so very nice to stay in bed until eight a.m. if I want to. Right now I am going to go and do some personal Bible study and take it easy--maybe watch some T.V. before I get to bed. I hope that you have had a super day/evening/etc. in your part of myLot land !
