I did some errands this morning. As I am walking along the sidewalk to the local mall, I decided to capture this photo. It looks so scary to see a big bee in public. Actually, it was the local version of McDonald’s fast food’s mascot in my country. It is a mascot that represents the local fast food Jollibee. I am just having the weirdest idea in capturing the biggest bee in the world.LOL
“Do you have a favorite mascot in the past or at present?”
“Do you like eating in fast food or prefer to eat slow food?”

Yeah the bee is kinda creepy lol but I would rather have that bee for McDonald's over the creepy clown, and I don't care for fast food, but if I'm on a road trip I will grab something fast.

@hillhjill The kiddies do love the mascot. Sometimes they wanted to have a picture beside him.

@arunima25 I think it is fine to eat fast food in a slow manner to digest it easily.

My nephew calls is "JobbyGee". When he came here with his mom to the states that was all he talked about. Unfortuantely we don't have Jolliebee here in Georgia. But my mom made his favorite chicken adobo and he was happy
I prefer the slow food. It's much better quality

@Shavkat I enjoyed it quite a bit, especially that the flavor is all through out the chicken instead of just the skin. But some days I find it too salty.

@cupkitties There are different kinds of way to cook adobo. For some, it is really quite salty.

We did not have much fast food chains or any such food chains during our growing up years in India. So I never had any favorite mascot from childhood. Now these chains are mushrooming all over urban area.
However, I had a favorite ice cream outlet called NIRULAS in Delhi during my college days.

That bee always reminds me of my kids when they were little, they always want to have their pictures taken beside him, they don't want to eat anything in the mall except jollibee, I got so tired of it I brought my take-out food from my favorite Chinese restaurant inside jolibee while they ate their burgers, fries and spaghetti

@Shavkat it's not like I do not like it I just got tired and wanted to try new things always as I always did before I had children. Thare was a time we ate Jolibee almost everyday, there was also the non-stop buying and acquiring free jollibee stuff, promo items and popular figures like Disney and Star Wars, I really love my children so I gave and bought them what they wanted.

I can imagine how it felt. My old man seemed not fond of eating in Jollibee. I remembered one time that he was trying to persuade us to eat in a local restaurant. But his kids will say no.lol We still win in a battle. The good old memories bring back sometimes.

@louievill I am not a parent yet. But I do think that parents wanted everything for their children. At present, I just do uncle duty for my nephews and nieces. I wanted to have what they desire.

@mlgen1037 Same here. Most Filipino families love the food in Jollibee. Are you going to treat me and @ingrid here?
