Where I've been - June edition

Hi My Lot, I have missed being on here more so. Where does time go? A couple of weeks ago my dad was in the hospital again for a few days. High potassium. As it turns out high potassium is very dangerous indeed. Who'd of thought? Well they got it under control and he came back home. As stressful as these things are - mom and myself got to visit and that was nice. Each time this happens it seems like it takes up more and more of my energy. Seems like I can't fully re-charge even if I sleep plenty. Then, right as I started recharging from all that stress, came my "busy" week in June. Sunday being dad's day. I think my dad had a nice day. We went to a good restaurant, did some tie-dye t-shirts. The small town I live in hosts Fun Days - a town carnival. City wide garage sales, a fair with carnival games and rides and food, glorious junk food, street dance, etc. My parents come for the parade, one of the largest parades in this area. That was Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday... and I wanted to spend plenty of time at it. Not that I ride rides - but there is something special about fairs. They transform a small town into something different and exciting, and you never know who or what you might see. There's some surreal about it all and several nights I just sat on the benches and watched the lights from the rides in the night sky. And I was busy practicing a new dance routine with my S Staves for the annual Lemonade Fair - held at the campus of the local university. It's a huge event and my dance troupe performs multiple times during the day. That was yesterday, and it went well, beautiful event, beautiful day for it, one of our friends, another dance troupe - came by to help us fill up time performing. It was truly special. So, that is where I have been, I've been thinking about checking up on all of you and reading your posts seeing how you've been and catching up.
