Will You Ride A Roller Coaster

A lot of people love to ride on a roller coaster. I did once as a teen, but never again. I was just thinking about how many suppose to be fun rides, are ending up in disaster, every year we see people getting hurt, or even getting killed. Would you still ride a roller coaster, after seeing so many mishaps on the news, or let your children?

not any more as nothing seems as well made these days. plus i am too old to do that any more. when i was a teen, i rode the scariest things i could find but that has been wayyyy many years ago

@popciclecold roller coasters from my youth were tame compared to what they have now. I'd probably have a heart attack

I never rode one until I was about 18 or 19. And my first time on one was a terrible experience, which I've written about. Unfortunately, my bf would make me go on them with him even though my anxiety would be in high gear. and I ended up half loving 2 out of the 5-10 I've been on. but probably wouldn't go on any again.

I did it when I was younger, but not today. Today I prefer to watch them from the ground

I was on a roller coaster only once. I was 13 or 14 years old, I don't remember exactly. It was in Copenhagen in Denmark. I was together with two Danish boys I knew. I thought I wouldn't survive the ride and sat there completely tense and cramped. A man in front of us turned round and gesticulated to make me understand that I should relax and above all shout like mad. But I couldn't.

Me too, I rode a ride called the caterpillar. I didn't like it at all. I'd ride the ferris wheel, enjoyed that. I like the pony ride when I was younger. But that's it!
