He said I might be sore...

I went to the chiropractor today, and it went well. He talked some more about my x-rays, and how often I should probably go see him and why. Looking at my x-rays again, my back is pretty darn messed up. He said that they had to "train" some ligaments(?) in my back to stay in the right place, since they're all out of whack. He had me on this table that could move, and I guess was starting on straightening my hips out. He warned me that I might feel sore afterward, and I do, though not too bad. I also noted when I stood back up again it felt a bit strange, as I could understand--I'm so used to walking cock-eyed that when I start to get straightened out, I'm sure it will feel weird for a while. He also explained why he was going to see me as often as he was (two or three days a week, I think), and for a reason that I can't quite remember, he's actually not going to see me as often as some people. Something to do with an injury to my back, I think. Anyway, I am sure glad to have gotten this started !

Back pain has got to be one of the worst, obey what he tells you to do and get yourself realigned. I have had back troubles most of my life and I wear a back brace when it gets too bad. Seems to help a lot

Is there a name for this ailment? Whew... My bad back is completely due to poor posture. I could never be a model.

I have something called "spinal stenosis" which in my case means that a couple of my vertebrae are out of alignment, but according to the x-rays the doctor took, a lot of other things are going on, too !
