During our school days we assigned the task to write the essay titled :if I were the Prime minister of India' At that time i did't know what the problem was ,so actually made no sense what i wrote at time. But today i know the problem in my country much better. So what would be the first thing i will do if i am made PM of country? I will raise the salary of cops and will urge them that government will try to find them another job if they do not like their Job.But if they like their job and understand what is expected from them then i will lay a rule for them, that any Police officer at any level ever deviate from his/her duty he/she shall be punished at least 3 times the magnitude for same crime if committed by general government servant or People. Today in my country, which i believe ,the biggest problem is Peoples' distrust in Justice system.I want to cure that, therefore it would be first thing i will do if made Prime Minister. What you will do if ever made the head of your state ,i mean what you think is ailing your country today that you would want to cure if given opportunity?

Why punish simple police officers in such a hard way? Shouldn't the people at the top set a good example, not be corrupt and simply do their duty? Put *them* in prison if they take even small bribes!

@suripunj Is it possible that the Indian population is too patient? Why do people endure being treated like that?

@MALUSE Hmm very good question.Hope no one charges me with sedition. To some extent History is responsible that we have been subjugated many times and People moved away from the governance and confined themselves to their livelihood alone. In my personal opinion when country got independence from British rule ,there was no freedom at all to the general people. All law remained same in my country despite some have been abrogated even in England.1947 i think was a power transfer between English to English educated Indian.

It is really easier than done. I would really make it a point that there is equal opportunity for all and access to education.

If I ever be the president of my country, I would allow other governments to do business in my country. That will signify greater opportunities for those who are globalize and looking for opportunities in other languages. My country would make business deals with bug companies so everyone who works hard would be benefited

Recently I wrote a letter to the Premier of my Province and it was published in a local advocacy newspaper. The publisher emailed me and told me that my "article" had generated a lot of interest from the citizens of Nova Scotia. Some of the comments suggested that I should run for Premier. If I ever became Priemier of my Province, I would defy the Prime Minister in every way. I would definitely work FOR the people. I would raise the minimum wage to exceed the cost of living. I like your idea of punishing members of the police force who break the law or misuse their authority in any way.
