The top, unfortunately, is warped. I have put some of it together, though. I have eight of the little cartons that fit in it, but I will get four more. This shelf unit will hold a lot. So I am waiting for the glue to hold on the trim for the top. The main top piece warps up in the back. If I can make the crown top hold, I am in hope that eventually the curve in the top will relax. This is what I was up to yesterday. Painting the pretty turquoise color. this shelf was in a business office, I am told. It had been painted a blue gray color at one time, and then a lighter blue color. The shelves had been nailed in. Now it is this pretty color inside, and the shelves fit very snugly. I still put screws into the cleats at the sides to hold them firmly. The trim on the top has had some effort at stripping, on just two ends. I am going to use some Formby's refinisher on the entire exterior, then put teak oil on it to seal it. I keep really busy, but may need to go back to work to have some money. We shall have to see. MyLot cannot pay all of my bills.
