Need to find another way to work

My ride to and from work is normally about a 40-45 minute drive, expect yesterday when we had another rain storm and turned my drive into a hour and 20 minute drive home. For the most part it isn't that bad a drive around here. I just learned that starting tomorrow they are going to be doing some road work on one of the roads that I take and it is a busy road with out road work and can get jammed up pretty good just on a normal day. This is going to be a two - three month project, they claim it should all be done by September 14th. If you know how that goes around here than really means they might be done by November sometime. With this in mind I am now looking at different routes that I might be able to take and which ones hopefully wont be to backed up. I would rather not take two hours to get to and from work every day. It's to bad I don't have 3 months vacation, LOL. I will have to keep a close eye on the traffic patterns over the next few days and see what I can do to avoid the traffic.
