Puzzle Finished

I started this puzzle a few weeks ago. As you can see, it's challenging, so took time to work. I got it finished yesterday, and then found as I did, there was a left over piece, seen to the left of the puzzle.
I like challenging puzzles. It keeps the brain active and alive. I don't know if I'm going to start another one, now that this one is finished, or just work on my book to get it ready to publish. Whatever, I do, I won't let my brain atrophy from non use.

@just4him Good job! This puzzle is really pretty. The last time I did a puzzle was when I was little. But I've done a few online puzzles here and there. But one day I wish to do a really big one just for the fun of it. It will keep me occupied and like you said, it keeps the brain active.

I had a larger one, 3000 pieces, and though it had never been opened before I opened it, not all the edge pieces were there, so I threw it out. This one is 500. It still took several weeks to do it and I really enjoyed it. I hope you are able to find that puzzle that will keep your brain active.

@VivaLaDani13 Yes, it was. I bought that puzzle when my grandchildren were little, but never opened it as I didn't want them losing the pieces. Instead, it wasn't all there anyway, and I ended up throwing it away.

Wow yes, I see the issue with difficulty, the colors are all so similar. I play sudoku and I do word games on my phone.

@BelleStarr That's good it works for you. I can get a couple columns, and then it falls apart on me, and I find myself erasing a lot. I've never finished one. I agree, it is a challenge.

I used to do these kind of puzzles when I was younger, I really loved it, your puzzle looks beautiful, congrats

I bought a couple puzzles myself and one of them has glow in the dark hidden pieces in it. I haven't worked on them yet but i may start it this week and see if my niece wants to help me with it next week when she is here. I bet your glad it is done now you can work on something else.

@Blondie2222 Can you take a picture of it so I can see what you're working on? Have fun. I'm thinking about starting another, but I do have a book I need to get ready to publish and there's a lot of revision and editing to do on this one.

@tammys85 Yes, I have the calendar corrected. So the story is back on track with necessary changes. My word count is way up again because of the corrections, but it's also a stronger book, and that's what I want.
Thank you. The puzzle was fun. I think I'll be putting it away today and leave it for another day.

Thank you. The book edit and revision is coming along. I got it back from my friend a couple weeks ago and found I messed up the timeline/calendar in it. So, there's a lot of revision I need to do with Thread of Evidence to keep the story as it is, but have the calendar right.
I haven't finished anything in a while. I'm working on several books that need finishing, and a couple that I'm working towards getting published. It always seems I have something I'm working on, and eventually the story gets finished.

pretty puzzle. I haven't finished anything lately. I hope to finish reading my book by next weekend. I need to finish it before I go on my trip next weekend. I'm still not through with my latch hook rug. I'm doing a row tomorrow and Monday.

It's difficult one.. You are amazing Valerie.. I haven't solved any puzzles recently.. I just helped a kid in solving his puzzle..

That is unusual to have a left over piece. I can see how it would be difficult with the flower patterns and all. I finished getting all my clothes into the new organized bookshelf unit. I finished the dishes. I am working on some more websites, but they involve surveys, not my choice. Both of my orders from Walmart.com came in and I need to learn to use them. I got an inexpensive fitness band, just cause I would like to track my steps. I finished a fire pit in the back yard.
