Happy Thursday Everyone!
It's been a noisy start to this day. First a wicked thunderstorm came through at 4am and woke us up. The lightening was fierce and the thunder shook the house. I was worried that my daughter would have to leave for work in the middle of the storm but thankfully it had mostly passed when she left at 6am.
By 8am the lawn people were here with their noisy mowers and have been going at it since. It takes them hours to do the whole community and the dogs are just plain nervous from all the noise today.
We're heading into a heat wave for the weekend with soaring temperatures. Nothing I want to go out in and will enjoy the a/c.
Usually my oldest daughter joins me for lunch on Thursdays but she has to work today so we're putting it off until tomorrow. Then my younger daughter will be home too and we'll have a nice lunch and I'm sure my grandson will be bored with all our chit chatting.
I don't have anything specific planned for today but I've already managed to get some laundry done, dishwasher emptied and reloaded, paid some bills and of course I'm showered and dressed.
I feel like a bona fide lazybones today and I hate feeling so lazy.

@Marilynda1225 Heh. I was playing with kids. In the afternoon, my kids wanted to be "bad guys," so we invaded a pretend rich person's house (in the sand box) and made chocolate cake for poor people with his flour (sand).

I didn't get much sleep either. Maybe that's why I feel lazy today

Sometimes we need lazy days. We're going into the heat wave with heat advisories for tomorrow and Saturday. I don't know if I'll have the A/C on. My apartment is naturally cool, but in the heat it can get warm in here. I might just need the ceiling fans. I'm sure the upper apartments will all have their A/C's going.

I have been working on surveys today, I did a load of laundry, went to lunch with my niece and then met with my granddaughter and her boyfriend to discuss the work we want done.
