Nevada State Police Officer tends to the needs of a baby hawk

A very interesting story that comes from Henderson Nevada this week when a baby hawk was seen walking on U S Highway 95.
Nevada State Police Officer John Morris decided to pick up the baby hawk since he was fearful that another driver would try to harm the baby hawk.
Morris took care of the baby hawk for two days when he gave the baby hawk on Friday to Zachary Blackwood who is an employee of the Nevada Department of Wildlife.
The baby hawk will be taking care of at a rehabilitation center before he will be released into the wild.

I am amazed that police officers do not get the praise that they deserve from the news media for their acts of compassion.
