My aunt paid a surprise visit the other day and I was just done with my laundry. I had to call my mom because she was at my brother's house.
Took a while but she came back and they had a long conversation. She left the next day, but complained how long the journey to our place.
Well, she did mention about the visit but we forgot

So it wasn't so much a surprise as it was a forgotten scheduled visit. Oh well, it's good your mom had a lot of fun conversing with her sister.

@Letranknight2015 not that too far unlike in my work place from my home..it takes six hour s to get back home. My brother complained a lot. lol

so that's why she had to stay overnight to recover and prepare for the journey back. hehe.
there are people who tell mother they're coming, but she forgets to tell us so we're surprised and unprepared.
i'm just about to start doing the laundry. good that the rain has stopped. i hope the sun shows up later because i'm washing the whites today.
