In Toronto we have Streetcars that run on dedicated tracks mixed with cars . A sort of LRT.... How the heck does this happen?...seems like it would take both the car driver and streetcar driver not paying attention for this. Can you tell me about an image or situation in your memory that you shook your head and couldn't figure out how it came to be??

I bet the car was trying to get past the streetcar and got caught in a squeeze.

I would have said yes...but that island seperates the streetcar track from another lane to the right. Both cars and the streetcar are allowed to use the track lane on most routes. Just looks like total stupidity to me John !...lol

@Luap1050 When I ride my scooter and someone all of a sudden stops in their tracks and I have to stop too. If they were paying attention nothing I would not have had to stop suddenly expect me to watch out over them and myself. That is not how it works.

Interesting picture! But if observed carefully the body of the car is already damaged before this accident as the end portion of the car's body is already damaged before it has passed the pole. So the Car must have met with an accident and must have left there to be picked it up ot towed up and mean while this accident must have occurred by misjudgement of the steer Car! Thanks!

It looks like the car was parked illegally in the bus lane...or it could be a classic example of Texting while driving. Hopefully no one was injured.
