Can you tell?

Can you tell if this is a flower or leaves?
I was amazed with this plant.
From afar I thought it was a different kind of sunflower. But when I take a closer look it was just a plain leaf and the pigments just form a flower or a sunflower like illustration from a far.
It was my first time seeing this kind of plant.
How about you? Have you seen this kind of plant? I don't know how it is called. Do you?
