Ahhh today's finally a "quiet" day?

We've been home from Gilroy and Bill's doctor's appointments for three days now. We got home Friday late and unloaded the car and unpacked. Then Saturday when we normally would kick back and recover from the trip. Instead we went to a bbq. Sunday we both were sick from all the activities and really didn't feel like doing much, but I worked on cutting out teddy bears. There are now bits of bear hair all over the house. So, Monday, instead of being another quiet day is going to be dedicated to vacuuming up bear hair and working on paperwork for the fire that destroyed my home. I had looked forward to a few quiet days where I could work on bears and have things peaceful and quiet. Tomorrow I work at the shop and we go to the store and to Wal Mart to get my medication and then hopefully things will be quiet and I can do what I want to do from there. I'm hoping to get the paperwork done today so that I don't have to deal with it too much longer. I want to file the claim with the power company by the end of the month so I can move on and probably end up getting an attorney and filing suit against the meat head power company that burned down my home. I don't like even thinking about the paperwork as it is so depressing for me. I think of it and cry. It isn't the "stuff" that was lost, but my furry babies that are gone. It's been 9 months and I'm still mourning their loss. And I discovered that Petey isn't really my cat, but Bill's. Yesterday I put Petey's food down for him and he barely touched it. I had an idea and asked Bill to set Petey's food down...the same food that I had fixed for the cat, and Petey gulped it down like he hadn't eaten for 6 months! Then he curled up in Bill's lap and purred so loud you could hear him clear across the house. Needless to say I knew right then and there that Petey was clearly Bill's cat and always was. Gee that was really something to brighten the day! Well I guess I should get back to doing the paperwork for the power company. I'd started working on it and spent over an hour on it and can now spend another couple hours on it easily. Thankfully there are computers that lighten the workload! I can enter the items and the amounts and the computer does all the figuring and when I finish the entering of the data all I have to do is hit the key to print out the paperwork and I have the copies I need. So, off to work, and hopefully your day will be bright and sunny and fun. Have a beautiful day!
