Hello, fellow mylotters!! Hope you all had a good weekend!! Last year our local market was closing it's doors, but it was only closed for a couple of weeks and a couple took over. We are very fortunate that they took over as we live 18 miles from any small grocery store or 30 miles one way from a Walmart or any bigger grocery store. In our local newspaper, there is a nice write up of the couple that are now running our local market and they have sushi!!! Now, I always thought that sushi was raw fish!! But the only raw fish they use is salmon and tuna!! One of the tellers at the bank had mentioned how she loved the sushi at the store so, one day I bought some and I love it!! So then I decided to do some research and you can use fruit even for a sushi roll!! Do you eat sushi? The couple that are now running the store had a sushi bar in Denver, Colorado for 3 years. In the newspaper's FaceBook page it even has a video of the woman making the sushi rolls, very interesting!! ~Peace~
