First a post, then some work

I have already been out to a store this morning. I have plans for stuff to do outside. When I was online the other day I communicated with some health insurance providers about Medicare Part D. My phone has rung constantly from them since then, so I finally talked to them. I need to contact the county council on aging to get their input on what I am doing. It is a month until I turn 65 and I have to get my ducks in a row. As @andriaperry said, though, I will never really retire. For one thing, I need a job to pay for my health insurance. For now, though, I am headed outside. I think we may get some rain and there are things I would like to do before that. I will be here more today than I was yesterday. Talk to you later.

I wish you the best of luck, Medicare isn't cheap even when you don't use it.

You have to take it whether you need it or not.

I am fully on Medicare now, as of the first. I got a letter from Social Services, that my Badger Care - Medicaid - was not going to end, but would cover what Medicare doesn't. That's good to know.

So true about needing a job to pay for your health insurance. I am at this time paying for Medicare plus a health insurance to pay for what Medicare doesn't pay for.

At our house the weather has looked gloomy but no rain has fallen. That has been going on for a week or so now.

Getting your ducks in a row is smart. It can be overwhelming trying to figure out the health part

Right now I do not need much health wise, but this is to plan for the rest of my life.

Hi Heather. There is no such thing as retirement (at least for me). It is just enjoying life to the fullest.

Unless I were to get very very ill, I do not think I would completely stop working, then I would need all these medical things.
