Semi-finals of World Cup 2018 will see England versus Croatia, France versus Belgium. There are 2 former champions. England and France won world cup once each. Belgium and Croatia never went to the finals or won any world cup. If they win it there will be a new champion. It is an all European semi-finals.

Thanks Mrki Mrki it will be evenly contested between Croatia England. It will also be even contest between France and Belgium.

One great statistics Mrki Mrki. Out of 20 world cups, Germany and Italy won it 4 times, England, France, Spain won it 1 time, Brazil won it 5 times, Argentina and Uruguay won it 2 times. So balance is with Europe. This time also an European team is going to be the champion.

Thanks ARM out of 20 world cups, Europe won it 11 times, South America won it 9 times. The European teams which won it include Germany 4 times, Italy 4 times, England, France and Spain one time each. Among South American teams Brazil won it 5 times, Argentina won it 2 times, Uruguay won it 2 times.
