Update of Roxie / myLot

I posted about this cat, Roxie, being adopted by the now wife's co-worker adopting this cat. Well, I saw on Facebook that they had to help her to the Bridge today. She had at first thought she was only 10, but she was actually closer to 13 it seems. I had told her that I knew she wasn't 10 because we at first got her as an adult with her 2 kittens in '06. So sad, but she had it pretty rough before she came to us. It is hard on a mother cat, also known as a queen, to have kittens, and her kittens were in great shape, however, she wasn't. So sad that she's gone, but she had the best life possible, better than here because she was one of 2 cats. After the old cat passed away, they did adopt a young orange male. Fly free, Roxie! You have gone to a better place.

@ElicBxn That is very hard on the ones left behind. Owners become so attached to their furry ones. I know I am one of those and when they leave us it so hard for us to deal with.

She was a good mother to her kittens, it is always sad to lose a pet, but I know that she had a better life with her new family than we could've given her with all the cats we had at the time.

I was sorry too, she was a good cat. I have a photo of me laying on a bed with cats, until this last week, she was the last cat surviving from that photo.
