My brother came over today, and I told him about my trip to the fabric store to get the lace I needed.
He was happy I was able to go, but said, "What about the big box of lace in the other room?"
Me: "What big box of lace?" (I thought there had been some in the house, but when I had looked, I didn't find it).
So he takes me into the family room, opens a box, and there is what is pictured.
Oh, well. I got some experience riding the bus to another town, and now I know I won't have to buy lace for a while...

No, not totally. I actually thought that I did (as it all used to be my mother's) but I when I looked in the place where I thought it was, it wasn't there, so I thought my brother had given it to someone.

There are a lot of things that we can do with the materials inside the box. Imagine all the art projects.

For sure. Most of this is going to be edging for my cross stitches--but I may use it for other things, too.

Whoops! Oh well, at least you got out of the house and got to ride the bus to your neighboring town...and now you know you've got plenty of lace for future projects.
