Do You Read Newspaper Daily And Watch News Channels?

I read a couple of newspapers daily.Along with it I watch news channels for half an hour every night.This helps me keep myself updated about what is going on in my country and abroad.
There was a time when I used to take printed words at face value.But now I know many news are fake.To distinguish between a fake news and a true news I use my conscience and keep my eyes,ears and mind open.
Do you read newspapers daily or watch news channels?

I don't have the bad habit of reading newspaper daily. 
Since my hubby watch TV news channel at home. I also overhear some news daily. However, when I have no net connection and free at office then I read the newspaper as I have no other works in that time

@Shivram59 I accept the advantages on getting updated with incidents happened around us/world. At times I felt bad on learning something happened and I am not aware

@Sreekala My polite suggestion : If you have time, please make it a point to read a good newspaper everyday,especially the editorial page.If you make it a habit ,I'm sure you'll find it extremely beneficial.

@Sreekala But I have this what you call 'bad habit.' In fact,I am an addict.This "bad habit"has enabled me to be aware of what is going on around me.It has helped me to form an independent opinion of my own about our governments at the time of elections.

@MALUSE You are right.Some newspapers are unreliable.We,too,read a couple of most trusted newspapers.These are the two newspapers that refused to give in to the government when emergency was imposed in our country.

Now we have stopped having newspaper as nobody had time in home except me to read. I occasionally check on news on TV news channels.
Most of my news and information comes from Internet especially Times of India website.

@Shivram59 yes and a few days back I was very tired but starting a discussion on mylot and later found a lot of errors in what I had posted.

I have hardly read the newspaper. I use my mobile phone to get some news from the Internet.

@ridingbet That's exactly what most people do these days. But detailed news is available only on newsprint.
