We will now have an Ocean Park near us... they did say it will open in 2017, then end of 2018, now it is 2020 
It is really taking a long time since the place is huge. I am excited to take my parents to it though since they love aquariums

I've also heard that water taxis will be servicing the towns in Souther Cebu and a soon-to-be-constructed mall between the areas of the old bridge and the Marcelo Fernan bridge. Supposedly, the owner of the proposed mall will be operating the water taxis to attract customers because it will but much of the travel time between the towns and the mall where the water taxis will be docking. I'm not sure though about the veracity of this development but that's what i got from a friend who has some roots in Cebu.

It sounds like it will be an interesting place to visit when it is ready. We have something like that here, but it is a much smaller place.
