My eldest daughter is arriving today from her holidays. Tania just messaged me that she could not see me until Friday night because she has too much work. Would I invite her and her BF for dinner on Friday? Of course, I messaged her. So now, when I go to the Bank, I will also go to a small supermarket nearby to buy whatever I need for a nice dinner. I know what to make as a dessert. But I will have to check what I have in my freezer as soon as I get up. Do you plan ahead your meals? All the time or just when you have visitors?

I make weekly plannings of what I am going to serve for lunch and dinner. It's something I always did, because when I worked I was very busy.

I used to do that when we were 5 at the house. Now I usually eat what I want at the moment.

@marguicha I plan because of my husband. I do not really care what I eat, but I like to prepare good meals for him.

i only plan my meals when I have visitors, during the week I am always thinking about what should I cook.

As busy as we are these days, it is almost impossible to plan for something. We just go do Grocery shopping when we can, and then plan from there, but we are always buying foods we know we will like or would work well if someone was to drop by for a visit
