All in A Day's Work: To Patronize or not?

I do not liked being patronized when I am helping others. I also do not say lies just to make somebody feel great because they helped me. But there are workmates who LOVVVVVVVVVED being patronized and it is not pleasant to the ears. How about you, do you like being patronized and do you patronize others?

Oh no, I don't like being patronized. Some people are doing that, to gain favor. That's one thing I hate - gain favor from the person I patronized. I know it when I am being patronized.

Like when I make reports for their presentation and they dont help input at all, on the presentationyhey are all praises to me? Like when a workmate finishes something, they are supposed to finish weeks ago and kept announcing what is done, waiting for all the praises...
