How do you improve your English communication skills?

I am not a native English speaker. I am only fortunate that it is the medium taught in school before since I was in kindergarten. It is my third language. Sometimes I feel like I ran out of vocabulary especially when needing to verbally communicate. I admit I am not a vocal person, I am more comfortable writing English since it gives me enough time to think about the words needed. These days, English language in our school curriculum is a bit not used anymore in teaching the students. I also noticed that foreign movies in local television were dubbed to Filipino. I find myself kinda rusty when it comes to this skill. How do you keep your English communication skills improving?

@kepweng it helps because we read and apply it through commenting and making discussions.

I am still directly stiff talking in English, so why I am here is to learn how to compose good words.

@ayuzawa in my country English is never used except in a course or in a company.. Which is more confusing if anyone talks to us using a language other than english and not from our country. Someone ever asked me with chinese language, I just kept quiet because I did not understand what he was saying to me.

very true for me too, i am a bit more on writing but saying it verbally needs more practice. we don't speak english at home daily since we have dialect and some of my company at home doesn't speak english.

it is still part of it, they kinda changed it though. Before, kids were taught using english as medium. today, kids were taught using the native language more than english.

Reading! A lot of it. Brush your grammar every now and then. Communicate. Write. And the most important: apply what you learned in practice.

By having conversations with people, reading newspapers may help.
