What Is Going On?

Hello everyone. It feels like months since the last time I am here. I tried to be here as I can but a lot has been going on here. First, there was a 12 hours water interruption from 6:00 PM until 6:00 AM the next day. This happened last night until this early morning. But realistically speaking they turn the water off at around 8:00 PM and it was back at 4:00 AM. But what the heck? At 4:00 AM, the water was brown. Good thing I stocked on it since the water pump does not want to cooperate. Second, the internet signal was on and off since this morning and had been in its weakest this afternoon.

So I have to call the provider to know and according to them they are upgrading the system. Really?!? Upgrading?!? How could that be upgrading when I cannot even comment here. It took me ages before one comment can be posted. One thing I am thankful though was that even though we had a full blast rain this afternoon for quite a few hours, the electricity did not shut off. That I am thankful for.

One out of three isn't too bad. I'm sorry you had the water shut off and the Internet signal wasn't good. Hopefully with the upgrade it will be better.

I think sometimes just a reset after the upgrade will make things work fine. But usually the upgrade is happening on the early wee hours morning.

It usually happens when upgrading, the signal isn't stable at all. But it wil get better soon, don' worry about it

. And that's available for the water too, it's always brown after several hours of interruption, but it clears after a few minutes. Usually

. I hope now things are back to normal

@rakski but power interruptions there in the capital city may come once in a while only, unlike here in my city, rotating brownouts are scheduled every week.

@ridingbet until now? really? We had some power interruptions when there is a very heavy rain, the transformer have some short circuit or something. This for our phase only.

@rakski I always see the water turn brown at first when it is off and then turns back on. It is disgusting. You really had a time of it. That is nice that the electricity worked. I hope things are fine now.

I thought only India had this problem of electricity going off. We have the home UPS that takes care of our fans, tv, lights and pc when there is load shedding

Oh that is nice. For this year, it haa been 3 times that the electricity shut down on us due to the transformer. We have to wait 4 hours or more

If your provider is globe, because mine is; when it rains the signal gets interrupted. Something they don't tell you.
