Whoo. Got more exercise than I planned. I took a Lyft to my appointment today, which was at 8:30 a.m. At least, it was scheduled for 8:30...don't think I actually was taken in until 8:45 or 9:00 a.m., but that was okay. I got out of my appointment and normally would have called another Lyft, but I was wondering if there was a bus stop anywhere nearby. I left the complex where the chiropractor was, and there was a bus stop but it was across the street which meant it went in the wrong direction. I started walking and came to a bus stop on the correct side of the street, but seeing where I was, I decided, "Eh, I can walk from here." So, I did. Along the way I made a stop, which is for another post, but eventually I made it home. Checking on Google, the distance was roughly 1.6 miles (maybe a little more--I didn't go exactly the route they showed on their map). The problem was, now I'm too tired to do something I told Angel that I was going to do. I know dogs don't "speak" English, or "human" but I feel bad 'cause I told her I would do it when I got home. It will have to wait for next weekend (I was going to take her to a local park about 3/4 of a mile away and see if there were any dogs there she could play with. Hopefully she'll get to play a bit with her friend next door later today). The nice thing is, the more I walk, the less it will hurt/wear me out. Next weekend hopefully I won't have any appointments to go to, much less walk home from them, so I can take her to the park. Even if there aren't any dogs there, it will be another nice walk.

Well, I took her next door and she played with the dog next door for a few minutes--that was after I took her for an afternoon walk. ;)

I think she'll be okay. Maybe you can take her for a walk this afternoon? I'm excited to see where your other stop was.

Yeah, I took her for a short afternoon walk, and then I took her next door to play with the neighbor's dog, which wore her out pretty good. She's on the floor next to me right now huffing and puffing. Thank you for reminding me of that other stop I made. I need to post about that.
