You can tell what decade this Jersey girl was born in. . . Springsteen or Bon Jovi?

I was asking people last night for some some music suggestions to add to my Apple Music playlist. Someone suggested Bon Jovi and and I was surprised that I had forgotten to remember them! I added several songs right away.
This morning I was doing the dishes and "Bad Medicine" came on. I started jamming out. My husband woke up, walked into the kitchen, and was like WTF? He said "I didn't even know you liked Bon Jovi". Later on in the shuffle "Blaze of Glory" came on came on which was from Young Guns 2. . . an excellent movie.
It just reinforced to me that, for me, Bon Jovi is more of a Jersey music hero for my generation. I identify way more with much more of his music. I like a select few of Bruce's standards but I am not at all a huge fan.

I guess you weren't around for the greatest of all Jersey singers, Sinatra.
