I do not know about you but when a dog owner leaves his dog inside an auto in any part of the world, that owner needs to have his or her head examined. A woman who adores dog was moved to pity Saturday in Golden Colorado when she filmed a dog that was inside an auto panting and bouncing like a ball back and forth due to the heat inside. The woman whose name was not released then called the Jefferson County Sheriff's Office to report the incident that she recorded on her cellphone. Officer Kelly Foster arrived at the scene and managed to free the dog from inside the auto since the doors were not locked. When Officer Foster talked to the owner of the dog, the owner complained to the police officer that the police officer was harassing him. Instead of getting a citation for being rude to a police officer, the dog owner only received a warning. Go figure

@Deepizzaguy The owner should be put in jail for doing that to the dog . That is horrible.

The rule of thumb is never pick a fight with a police officer when they are correcting you on mistreatment of animals inside autos.

@Deepizzaguy I agree with you on that. It is the owners fault and should have left a window open. that is so cruel.

I would have read the riot act to the owner and warned him of reporting to animal welfare etc.

That is what bothers me that the deputy slapped the dog owner on the wrist instead of reporting his rudeness to the authorities.

That is a good question since instead of owning up to his errors, he blames the deputy for the dog being stuck inside an auto with the windows up.

That is disgusting! The dog owner should have received a huge fine, if nothing else. If I had my druthers, I'd send him to prison for life!

If this happened in Jefferson Parish in Louisiana where I used to live, the deputy would have thrown the book at the dog owner.

I thought there were laws against locking up animals in hot cars.
