We finally got a good amount of rain. We needed it and it really cooled things off.
I checked the rain gage outside while dinner was in the oven and see that we were just over two inches.
It is still pretty cloudy out there so we may get a little more, but for now it has calmed down.
Because of the insanity of lightning and thunder I flipped the breakers for the central conditioning. After the brunt of the storm I turned it back on because it was awfully hot and humid in the house. Now.its.working overtime to cool off.

We had some thunder in the late afternoon and then the sun came back out and the humidity rose.
