I am knitting my cat a leash.

I have some left over yarn and I want to put it to good use so I decided to knit my cat a leash. It is only two stitches wide. I just started knitting it and will post a photo when I am finished. Then I'll have to get her used to it. She has a collar but no leash so I can't take her outside for walks. Buying one from Pet Smart or other pet stores is too darned expensive. I only hope she doesn't treat her new gift like a toy and rip it to shreds.

I'm not sure. I bought it at the dollar store. It is a thick yarn.

When we were living in the city we had loads of cats that we could call our own but they were free. They walked in and out of our house whenever they wanted No leash for them. Now we have strays visiting us. I feed them but have not adopted them.

Well that is interesting. I would never have thought to knit a cat leash, but it is a good way to use up leftover yarn. I hope you show us the final product. I can't wait to see it.
