Gloucester County Public Works employee Mike Sindoni was called into duty this past Wednesday when an owner of a rooster named George was trapped inside an inlet after he was chased by a dog. The incident took place in Swedesboro New Jersey near the home of a farmer who reported to the public work department that one of his rooster was trapped inside an inlet. It took Sindoni less than one hour to use grate hooks and a chain to open up the inlet where George the rooster would be free to return to his owner's farm safe and sound. Sindoni admitted that it is the first time the public works department have been called to save roosters who are trapped in storm inlet.

What a delightful story. I am still chuckling about George the rooster. Hope he no longer strays far from the farm.

Me too since getting stuck inside a storm inlet is not fun.
