It is a rather humid morning this Tuesday my friends, and this time at 9:45, I am already sweating and feeling sticky. Yesterday, I recharged the Samsung phone the whole day. I was anxious why it was taking that long to recharge the phone. When i changed the adaptor to another one, the charging was quicker. There and then I knew maybe the adaptor is not functioning anymore as expected. Now, my phone is fully charged after 14 hours, and that is too long a time to charge my phone. I switch it off when I charge as usual. I had to search for the other adaptors we have and this morning, I found another 2. The white, black, and the long one are used already. I found this big Motorola adaptor, and another triangular one hanging in the window, this Sony adaptor. Anyway the wires for Android can be used in any mobile phone that are not iOs like Apple. Do you have adaptor for each of your mobile phones and other gadgets?

Every phone has a different adapter and I always use the one designed for that specific phone. A different adapter can damage the phone.

@ridingbet No, I did not mention the fire problem in the house, but I always charge my phones during the day, when I can keep an eye on the charger.

@LadyDuck no, i do not mean it was you who charge your phone, but i think you made a comment before about somebody who charged her phone while she slept and it eventually nearly caused fire, the pillow caught fire from the charger that exploded.

right on that. also, we recharge our phones away from our bed because i think it was you who commented that a charger can create fire and may burn something in the house.

Yes.. I have different chargers for my gadgets and I prefer to use the charger that came with it. Not all chargers are the same, they have different input and output voltage and amperage, and might damage the device if you use a different charger.

@brokenbee yes hija. the charger is compatible with the outlet/output. maybe because the phone, (hand-me-down from my brother) is already 'old'?

@ridingbet but 14 hours is too long Ate.. Make sure the charger has the same output and compatible with your device... it might damage the battery...

I keep the charging cords for previous cellphones but only for so long. I gave my nephew an old charging cord I had because his had broken. I think the only ones I have now are for the phone I have now and my previous phone.
