I watch YouTube for free, but pay the price for it with unwanted personalized ads.

I can pay 10 dollars a month to get YouTube Red but, as it is offered still, in spite of the end of Net Neutrality, for free but not completely. There is a price to pay, that is, the ads are not just ads, they are personally directed ads that relate to where I live. For instance, as I watched a YouTube of Black Bear News, from July 16, 2018, this morning, the next video auto loaded at the end of that video and an ad from Opendoor, came up and announced their deals in the Dallas area. I live in the Dallas area and I recently did a Google search because I wanted to find out if a phone number, that appeared on a snail mail flyer from We Buy Ugly Houses, that was printed on a post card flyer was legit and after I confirmed that that company, as indicated above, was actually for real, then I began seeing more and more repeated ads on videos I was watching on YouTube that apparently were being directed at me. I neither want to or intend to sell the house that we are living in. But in spite of the constant barrage of snail mail flyers with offers from persons in our area of town to BUY OUR HOUSE. I am beginning to think this is an all out attempt to annoy me to the point that I will be forced to either PUT UP WITH THE ADS THAT ARE PERSONALLY PUT ON THE VIDEOS I WATCH ON YOUTUBE or stop using YouTube as an information & entertainment media source online. Or the other option is to MOTIVATE ME to switch to YouTube Red and pay that 10 bucks a month for the rest of my life, just to avoid being annoyed by those unpleasant and self directed adverts. Below is an article highly relevant to this issue.
Google is going to let advertisers target YouTube ads based on people's search histories, giving brands a whole new perspective into the consumer mindset.
