Jane Eyre is keeping me from a nap.

I was going to go to sleep when I discovered that a channel had Jane Eyre just started.
Jane Eyre was my favorite book when I was a child although now I can see it is not a child´s book. Mr. Rochester was a sadist and on reading the Bronte sisters books, it seems that they must have had very difficult lives.
Have you read Jane Eyre or seen the movies?

There have been several Jane Eyre movies. I have seen the classic old Hollywood one.

I had seen a different one before. I didn´t much like it. This one is more according to the book.

I loved the book when i was a child and I liked it when I read as an adult. That happens with the good books.
