Happy Thursday morning from this side of the world. It is 10 minutes past 6am, and the expected power interruption is 50 minutes away. I am making a quick discussion now and this is--- I am not wishing the power outage will be implemented here in my locality.
Therefore I am hoping (against hope) that we won't have power interruption today.
A simple wish which I hope will be granted. Let's wait until 8am.

i do not wish for a 'thumbs down' button here because a thumb down would mean you do not like the discussion posted. besides, it will create animosity between you and the author of the post you pushed the thumb down button to. next would be a blocking thingy of that author on you.

@LadyDuck yes and we are accustomed to unscheduled interruptions but still we call up the electric cooperative to ask the reason why the brownout.

it is good we did not have. we were waiting the whole day if our lights will go off. it didn't until last 5:30, we had 20 minutes brown out.

happily, we did not have today, though we had a 20-minute interruption at 5:30 because of a transformer that got short-circuited along the highway.

Was it granted? I wish that if ever there will be a power interruption, it will be announced so we can still prepare. Just like for example today, there is a sudden water interruption. It cause problems and frustrations since we cannot do cleaning without water at all.

I hope your wish turns true. I am wishing on the same line. We have metro coming up in our area. In all demolition and construction work there are shifting poles etc.. and that is interrupting power supply everyday. We might have this problem for coming 2 months.

metro rail rides are also being constructed in the capital city. but not here in my place. so, the electricity interruption is due to fixing of poles and altering of circuits, whatever. hahaha.
